Safety tips

  1. If you smell gas you should call your gas supplier immediately
  2. For long lasting appliance use, you should have your gas appliances serviced once a year.
  3. Your propane tank, by law, needs to be a reflective color.
  4. The dome on the tank should be closed to protect all the valves against damage.
  5. The tank should always be level and set on blocks to get it off the ground.
  6. All tanks from home use over 125 gallons should be 10 feet from the home.
  7. No propane tank should be set under a deck or patio.
  8. The regulator on the tank should be replaced every 15 years. There is a date on the regulator.
  9. All gas appliances should burn a nice blue flame. If there is a yellow flame the appliance should be serviced.
