Question - How far away from the house must you set an propane tank?
Answer - A 125 gallon tank or less can be set up against the house. Any tank
over a 125 gallons must be set a minimum of 10 feet from the home.
Question - Can a customer paint his/her tank any color?
Answer - It must be a reflective color (examples: aluminum, silver, etc.). This
is to reflect as much heat as possible to prevent the pressure from building up
and causing a the relief valve from opening
Question - Are the new vent free gas logs and heaters safe?
Answer - Yes. The design of these appliances have greatly improved from older
models, including an ODS pilot assembly which will shut down the logs or heater
before the oxygen is used up in a room.
Question - How long will a tank last?
Answer - For even if properly maintained, tank set on blocks not on ground,
painted, dome kept on and closed. Valves and controls kept in operation
condition.
Question - How much propane gas on an average will I use per year?
Answer - Taylor Gas will be by your house to check your gas percentage (free of
charge) 3-4 times per year.
